Manufacture of the bearings involves bi-metal lining on the inside portion wherein the shaft rests. Also known as Babbitt Lining. Babbitt metal is a soft alloy (invented by Issac Babbitt), which includes Tin & other alloys. Raw materials utilized are Forgings & Castings.

According to drawings of our esteemed customers such as BHEL, NTPC. When required Dodge Based design bearings are also made by us.

Babbitting Technique

After Milling & Turning operations Bearings are heated upon & cleaned. After cleaning, tinning operation starts. We have a modern Heating Furnace with attached temp display unit generating graph of temperature to check, enhance & taper various temperature requirements.
